How to play
Your objective is to find and circle 21 words as quickly as possible. The FRENZY “twist” is that you must find different quantities of each word length to complete the game.
To select a word, click its first letter, hold the mouse button down, drag the mouse over the word’s last letter, and release the mouse button.
Click the HINT button if you get stuck. Find words that spell other words backwards (i.e. RAP & PAR) to lower your time.
Game objective
Your objective is to find and circle 21 words in the letter grid as quickly as possible.
The “twist” in FRENZY is that you must find specific quantities of specific word lengths to win the game.
Circling Words
Click the first letter in a word, hold the mouse button down, drag the mouse over the last letter of the word, and release the mouse button.
High score list
The clock stops when you circle your last word. The shortest (lowest) times will have the top positions on the high score list.
Hints (add time)
Click the HINT button as often as you wish. But every hint will add 10 seconds to your final time.
Double words (subtract time)
Find words that spell other words backwards (i.e. TAP and PAT) to lower the time reported at the end of the game. Double Words subtract 15 seconds from your final time.
The games dictionary
This game uses a subset of the standard international English S.O.W.P.O.D.S. dictionary. This dictionary is widely used in word game tournaments throughout the world.
Play tips
Press the SPACE BAR to toggle between dark and light word outlines.
Look for 3 and 4 letter words that spell a different word backwards.
